All three of the British Railways tank locomotive designs from their earliest days in 1951 through to 1967 when the last examples headed away to the scrapyards are well covered looking at all of the variations and differences within each of the separate classes during the 1950s and 1960s. Through a variety of archive photographs at work around all of the regions on a variety of both passenger and freight duties well captured by some of the finest cameramen of the day, combined with views of the locomotives on shed too. The perfect record for all three of these Standard designs, be sure not to miss out.
The series are all large landscape format hardbacks, with 128 pages printed onto high quality glossy art-paper, stitch sewn and limited to just 500 copies of each title.
"These are among the finest pictorial volumes BRM has had to review of late, and the usefulness of the wealth of visual information contained within them can't be overestimated. These are highly recommended and represent good value for money" British Railway Modelling - Spring 2019
